Hawthorn Rise
A beautiful property in Parksville that has been lovingly cared for over the years. Here, we pruned the trees, trimmed the grasses and added new plants to compliment the existing layers. The icing on the cake for this garden bed is a layer of fish compost to feed the plants crucial nutrients, enhance water holding capacity of the soil, help the roots stay at the right temperature during the colder months, and help with weed control.
Fourth St
A walkway in Courtenay given a brand new look. The client's Wishlist for this project included removing the weeds, adding a protective layer of landscaping fabric to prevent new weeds, to reuse the existing stepping stones in a practical layout and to fill in the remaining area with 3/4" round stone to give the space a clean new look.
Constantine Place
A side yard in Parksville now made enjoyable. A combination of monster blackberry bushes, jurassic horsetail and mondo dandelions had taken over this side yard. The clients wanted to be able to access their backyard from the front, have a space to enjoy their morning coffee, and also allow their new puppy to run free. The transformation of this space started off with removing the weeds, creating a proper slope away from the home, laying a thick layer of landscape fabric and hauling in six yards of 3/4" blue chip gravel.
Quadra Place
A funky property in Comox. After bringing in fill to get above the swamp that held 3-4 inches of standing water three seasons of the year, we had a blank canvas to work with for this full backyard Reno. Using the natural resources we had collected from our adventures, we have lovingly created a zen-like atmosphere that sparks joy and healing.
